My friend Sharlene, whose blog is linked to my blog as well, has just finished reading the book. she has watched the film as well. Both of us thought the book was ok. Actually i didn't really like it. I read La Marriage as well. I thought the books were ok, but not fantastic. At least not to the point where it deserves the literary award which the author won for the books. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Am still reading 'The Crimson Petal & the White". It's a really long book. Not too bad so far.
