it was quite good, and i enjoyed it. but it may be confusing for those who have not read the book =)

i liked spirited away better, but i think mainly because the story line was quite amazing.

Thanks, I don't believe it opens in the US till June. Have you read the book before? Maybe I'll just watch Spirited Away this weekend to satisfy the present miyazaki craving I have. that haku is a cute and capable fellow. =) not sure if they releasing the dvds at the same time in SG, but this Tuesday, Disney is releasing the US versions of Porco Rosso and Nausicaa (ever read the manga? it's great. Available in English. truly epic, more so than mononoke). have you seen Porco Rosso before? Would you recommend it?

i've actually read the book, but err, i flipped it rather than read it. =) i've got a bootleg DVD set of 10 miyazaki films, of which i've watched 1.5. (I didn't know it was bootleg!!! got it at laser flair. =)) re Porco Rosso - i haven't watched it, but a friend of mine says it's his favourite miyazaki film.
