haha... ooyeee... often trying to do something completely different helps... that's what i'd tell myself when i am stuck with a bug. or when i am trying to carve out words for a report or the manuscript...

Yeah, I could do something different, but then I worry that I should've been finishing that other thing first! It's horrid. I need to work more productively.

i often feel that way too but experience showed that IF i did take a break from all of it for a wee while, i'd work better on the problem having had a rest from thinking about it... if you know what i mean... so now i have to force myself to leave the problem when i am stuck... which is why i end up cooking... because i have to concentrate on not burning my food! silly i know. but oh well.
