The family dog loves bedsheets. She loves it when I throw them over her, that is, she loves playing hide and seek by herself beneath the cover of darkness. She also enjoys being tucked in with one paw over her blanket. She doesn't like to be photographed while falling asleep though and will stare with her big button eyes until I go away.

Your doggie looks very humanistic in the first photo. She is lying on her side and looks as though she is waiting to fall asleep at the end of a long day!

My dog loves bedsheets too! He also likes to climb into my wardrobe where there are piles of clothes...

Glad you all like the pictures. They are cheery, aren't they? Snowy brings much joy to the household. blah, I'd be terrified if Snowy went through my wardrobe - she happens to love clothes very much and even has some of her own! A very vain dog.

Haven't checked on your blog for some time. Pleasantly surprised to see little snowy there. Cute and vain as ever.

Hey, we're both reading the same thing - the yr of magical thinking. Great minds think alike i hope.

Reading your postings tends to make me reflect. I realise that alot of life takes place in the spaces and nuances between the hustle and bustle of daily life. And as we rush through each day, alot of life slips us by without us ever realising it.

She is VERY cheeky, that one. And vain, and greedy, and attention-seeking and...but we still love her. =)

hello Mandy, how're you liking the book? I like what you said about much of life taking place in the small spaces in between everything else. We don't look hard enough and we forget many things. Ah, the folly of us humans. We complain about many distractions in life but then most of the time, we created them in the first place or we choose to give in to those distractions.

Hi a l, I'm managing, I suppose. Thanks. Just figuring out what I might like to do for a day-job. I can't be a freelance editor forever and I think I want to do something else while this writing thing works itself out (or rather while I work it out). Oh, thanks for the arvo part comment, will check it out! Splendid photo of the calla lily, by the way.
