No blogging for a while

Movable Type is giving this blog a few problems. Among other things, I can't access any entries beyond the recent five. Thanks to blog meister, Vanessa Tan, I can at least reach those five entries. I'm ceasing blogging until I decide what to do. I'm thinking of moving to wordpress so that I won't have server problems or other issues to deal with (I'm just not very good at such things). I'll send word out if I do move. I hope to preserve all the writing I've done here for nearly four years and it'll take some time if I want to transfer my files. The new blog will have a different name; I've already claimed a wordpress blog domain, but unfortunately, it won't be monologs. Someone else got first dibs on that and I had to think up a new username and blog title, but I kind of like it, and I hope you will too. Perhaps it'll be a good thing to start a new blog in another place, just like beginning a new life. And in that same breath, let me also mention that I'll be moving (literally) next month. (Finally!)

Hey, the new place is up, but Van has got my blog working again. :) I still have to figure out what to do with server issues and future installations of new versions of MT. I'll continue on this blog and on Van's server for now though.

wanted to say that the dress that was given to you looked really nice! Actually, what i'm really saying is that you looked really good in that photo. Sorry for delayed comment. Also can't seem to leave a comment on that particular blog entry. Not sure why.

Really relieved to have fixed the problem. Well it was caused by using a free FTP program (which didn't upload files properly) and a dodgy home internet connection (which gets cut off too frequently).

Regarding the maintaining of the blogs' back end, we'll sort something out...

ps. Really glad to hear that so many people like the photo I took :P But I'll re-iterate that it isn't difficult making Vanny look good in a photo. Agreed?

Hey Vannie, Happy Belated Birthday... I'm so bad at remembering dates. Looks like you had a good time =) Great dress & picture! Hope to catch up with you soon... You won't believe what got me here; I was googling for Awfully Chocolate (saw this place at Katong Mall & trying to find some reviews). The best link I got was thru DimSumDolly (I luv yr food pics!!!) and I only know of one Monoceros in this world. :)

Van baby, thank you so much for solving the problem. *presses nose to ground* Talk soon about blogs. Have been enjoying your Second Life pics. :) And Van, you are a nifty photographer, you caught my face at a good angle, otherwise I wouldn't have put up the picture!

Hey june, thanks...and don't worry, you know how *brilliant* I am with birthdays. I'm only now starting a proper birthday book with written-in dates etc. Let's have a chocolaty date one day! By the way, I've had a cake from Awfully Chocolate before - not bad at all. As for DimSumDolly, you have met her before :) And she will be happy to hear your compliment! Hey, I'm touched you only know one monoceros!
